An ad for a new chicken sandwich in New Zealand is drawing the ire of social media users and is being dubbed racist. The ad in question depicts customers attempting to eat the new sandwich by using giant chopsticks. One Korean New Zealander who saw the ad while scrolling through her social media was shocked by ad, which she called, “blatantly ignorant.” The restaurant that approved the ad has yet to issue an official statement, however some users have chimed in to say that the criticism is unwarranted.
