According to Korea's National Tax service, this year's online year end tax settlement site will go live at 8 a.m. on January 15. The site will allow users to check various expenditure data for tax credits, including credit card usage, cash receipts and medical bills, from the past year. A highlight of this year's site is the removal of the much maligned Active-X security protocol. The change makes it now possible to perform end-of-year settlement work through a variety of browsers such as Chrome, Safari and others.
