A new study indicates that many married women bear a greater burden of household chores than their husbands. The surveyed showed that women spent just over three hours on housework per day compared to their husbands who spent a mere 37 minutes during the week and 70 minutes on weekends. The study also showed changes in perception on traditional gender roles. Nearly 74% of married women disagreed with the traditional notion that husbands make money and wives take care of the family, up from 64% three years ago.
