US officials have charged dozens of well-heeled parents, including actresses Felicity Huffman and Lori Loughlin in what the US Justice Department says was a multimillion-dollar scheme to cheat college admissions standards. The scope of the case is massive, with a total of 50 people charged and more than three dozen taken into custody. The alleged fraudsters used brazen methods, including photoshopping the faces of their clients' children onto stock internet photos of athletes. For this illicit service, parents paid between $200,000 and $6.5 million.
