An original version of Korea's March 1 Declaration of Independence has been discovered in a private home in Nagasaki, Japan. The document is thought to have been concealed from authorities by the grandfather of the current homeowner.
What's more, this particular version of the Declaration is purported to be one of the original 21,000 copies first printed as it contains two typographical errors.
At the time, most copies of the Declaration were confiscated, resulting in only eight original copies remaining in Korean museums and other such places.
