Nationwide, last year’s average daily traffic volume was nearly 15,000 vehicles, which was 2.7% higher than 2016 and 23% higher than 2008. At nearly 225,000 vehicles per day, Jayu-ro ranked first in the nation for highest average daily traffic volume. 

October was found to have the highest traffic volume of any month, likely due to the multiple national holidays that month in 2017. 

Finally, Gyeonggi Province was found to have the highest average traffic volume, reaching slightly over 37,000 vehicles per day.
